Personally and professionally, Drake and Rihanna seem to winning big.  The rumoured couple came out on top of Spotify’s Most Streamed Songs of the Summer. On the global list, Drake’s summer hit with Wizkid and Kyla ‘One Dance’, topped the list, followed by Rihanna’s collaboration with Calvin Harris, ‘This Is What You Came From.’  The power couple (too soon?) also killed it on Spotify’s U.S. Top 10 Songs of the Summer, with ‘One Dance’ being number one and their collaboration on Drake’s album ‘ Too Good To You’, coming second. Rihanna also had two more songs on the top 10 list. ‘Needed Me’ and ‘This Is What You Came For’ came 3rd and 4th respectively.

What makes the achievement even greater is the fact that both of their albums were initially released exclusively before being made available on Spotify. Rihanna’s ANTI album was released exclusively via Tidal, whereas Drake’s album was released exclusively on Apple Music. Goes to show, good music is good music, regardless of the ever so competitive streaming services world. Listen to and see the full lists below.
