Are we the only ones starting to get whiplash from Kanye West’s constant mood swings?! One day, he supports something or someone, the next day he doesn’t. We can’t keep up! Kanye has been known to make controversial comments, but this might be the most controversial one yet. During a recent concert, the rapper revealed that not only did he not vote in the recent presidential elections, but also, if he had voted, he would have voted for Donald Trump. The rapper said the following:

I told y’all I didn’t vote, right? But if I would’ve voted, I would’ve voted on Trump. There’s nonpolitical methods to speaking that I like, that I feel were very futuristic. And that style, and that method of communication, has proven that it can beat a politically correct way of communication. And I [agree] with that. I actually think that his approach was absolutely genius. Because it … worked! We are in a racist country, period. Do not allow people to make us talk about that so … long.

Obviously, everyone is entitled to their opinion but what’s fascinating about this whole situation is that earlier on during the presidential race, Kanye pledged his support to Hillary Clinton. He and his wife, Kim Kardashian even took a selfie with Hillary during one of her fundraisers.

What’s more, Kanye even made a donation to Hillary’s campaign.

And so, this change of heart is truly baffling. We wonder the Kardashian’s think about this whole hoopla. Leading up the elections, almost all of the Kardashian’s have publicly shown support for Hillary and urged people to vote. The rapper’s manager, Scooter Braun, was also heavily involved with Clinton’s bid for the White House and even held a fundraiser for Hillary at his home.

We doubt Scooter is very impressed with Kanye’s recent comments. However, in all fairness, it’s never been a secret that Kanye walks to the beat of his own drum, so we guess the rest of his team have to fall in line, despite their own personal views.
