Remember when NBA star Steph Curry’s ‘Curry Lux’ shoes were trending online? Yeah, despite the negative reviews, the shoes sold out within hours of its release.
Images of the Under Armour Curry Lux sneakers debuted last month to mostly negative reviews. The shoes were called everything from “nurse shoes” to “dad shoes”.

Some even went as far as to criticise Curry’s performance on the court.

The general consensus, it seemed, was that the shoes were a big NO.

But it turns out not everyone agrees because the sneakers have now sold out. Under Armour’s first major foray into the fashion world seems to have paid off for the brand.
The sneakers were released yesterday August 5th exclusively at Concepts New York, retailing at $150 for the mid tops and $140 for the low tops.
Even bonafide fashionista Solange Knowles got in on the action.
What do you guys think of them?
