Our Favourite Couture Looks
The Spring/Summer 2018 Couture Fashion Week wrapped up last week and there was lots of drama on and off the runway (Yes Ulyana and Miroslava, we still remember 🙄). But focussing on the runway, we thought we’d share some of our favourite looks from the runway.
For the Evenings
Ballgowns have become almost synonymous with Couture and so we thought we’d start here. Also if anyone is handing out invites to events where people wear these things, please look over here!! (Oh and send the gown too please ☺️ ☺️☺️)
Ralph & Russo for that Bond Girl moment
Armani Prive to make a simple yet impactful statement
Or this fun Armani Prive option to keep things interesting
Another take on fun and flirty, this time from Valentino
I Have Too Much Money Majorly Drama
No but seriously what else do we expect from Couture Week if not drama?
We just want to be cool enough to rock the entire Valentino collection
But this is subtle enough, no?? [Valentino]
And if you don’t feel like getting yourself together from the neck up 🤷♀️ [Valentino]
You know when you want to be sexy but sophisticated? Alexandre Vauthier is best for that
PS: we can’t wait to get our hands on the couture sunglasses from the Alain Mikli x Alexandre Vauthier collaboration. We hear it’s launching in March
All About the Skill
It’s not Haute Couture if it’s not High Skill and so we simply had to do a selection of technically perfect styles.
Transform with the light in this Maison Margiela coat
Ralph & Russo giving you that perfect hourglass figure.
Claire Weight Keller debuted her first Couture collection for Givenchy and we love it! Starting simple is usually best.
Armani Prive makes leather work look so easy.
